Join us for a great day of tasting – approximately 60 vendors, including craft breweries, distilleries, wineries & specialty meat & cheeses.  Back by popular demand is the Beer Stein Holding Contest as well as other games, music & food.

FAQs

What is the refund policy?

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to monitor the CDC and local officials’ latest guidelines. We will release all COVID-19 safety guidelines attendees will be required to follow closer to our event date. If we can continue with our event, we are not offering refunds. Rain or shine we will be ‘Festing! If we need to cancel completely, we will provide refunds.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes.  Everyone who enters must be at least 21, including designated drivers. IDs will be checked. No children of any age.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?

We team up with Warco Transportation for bus rides – tickets can be purchased through this site until August 19, 2021, After 8/19, call Warco direct at (608) 994-2701 or (888) 285-5409.

Pickup locations are: 

Bus #1:

• 10:00 AM Verona, WI – 5th Quarter Bar, 161 Horizon Dr, Verona WI
• 10:15 AM Mount Horeb, WI-Premier COOP, 201 W Main St, Mt. Horeb WI. Pick up at end of parking lot by Main St.
• 10:30 AM Dodgeville, WI – Walmart, Leffler St.
• 11:00 AM Platteville, WI-A&W Restaurant, 161 Millennium Dr, Platteville, WI

 Bus #2:

• 11:15 AM Dubuque, IA, Holiday Inn, 450 Main St, Dubuque IA. Make a night of it, and book a room at the Holiday Inn if you’re attending the Potosi Brewfest. PARKING AVAILABLE AT FIVE FLAGS PARKING RAMP.
• 11:30 AM Kieler WI, Gooch’s Greenhouse, 3544 Cty HHH, Kieler, WI 

Busses will depart immediately following the event and will take you back to your original pickup location. Please watch for Bus time updates, as the pandemic protocols continue to evolve we may need to adjust time of departures to accommodate social distancing within the bus.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

You CAN bring your own lawn chair.  You can NOT bring pets/animals or food/beverage carry-ins.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We will be scanning tickets for admission, so whether it’s on your phone or printed – both are acceptable – but you must have one or the other for us to scan. 

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?

That is okay.  We will be scanning each ticket, so the name doesn’t matter as much as the barcode/number. 

Notice: 

We have volunteers taking pictures and/or videos of the Potosi Brewfest Event. By taking part in this event, you grant organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity, or other purposes to help achieve the group’s goals. This might include (but is not limited to) the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases, and funding applications. 

If you do not wish to be photographed please inform an event organizer. If you are captured in photos posted to our events social media, and you would like them removed, please send us a direct message we can remove them from our social media pages.
