The Marquette Waterfront Festival is the official curtain-raiser to the eastside’s glorious season of summer music festivals. The festival celebrates its 34th year in 2023 the weekend of June 10 and 11, mixing hot local talent with touring national acts on two stages. Here’s what’s in store for this year’s Waterfront…

To top off and celebrate a weekend of wonderful music and community, long-time festival supporter the Crystal Corner Bar will host a special Waterfront After-Party on Sunday night with music by rockabilly legend, the electrifying Dexter Romweber of Chapel Hill, N.C. and punkabilly sensations Viva Le Vox from Lake Worth, Florida. The music starts at 10:00 p.m. Come down and toast the weekend!

As always, Marquette Waterfront Festival will feature a terrific array of vendors from local businesses, artists and restaurants, as well as craft beer and wine tents. Kids games, the Dandelion Dash (Saturday, 11:30 a.m.) will return as well. On Sunday morning, join or watch the River Alliance’s Fools’ Flotilla! The zany boat parade takes off from Tenney Park locks at 10:30 a.m. down the Yahara River toward the park. Register your boat in advance for event details and weather updates.
